Tizzy and El-A-Kru are heading to China this Tuesday for two performances at the prestigious “Meet In Beijing Arts Festival”, as part of its Latin and Caribbean Music segment.

Having already performed in Europe and North America this will be their first trip to Asia.
The Festival takes place in Beijing from the 30th of April thru the 2nd of May, 2016. The Meet in Beijing Arts Festival is in its 16th Year and is expected to have over 50,000 people daily at the concerts in Beijing’s city square. The event will be widely covered by the Chinese press including broadcasts on China’s television stations.
While in China, the group will also visit a University, take part in a Caribbean Food Festival and see some of Beijing’s most infamous attractions. “I am definitely looking forward to taking Soca music to China as we continue to open up new markets for this great music. I’m also delighted to visit the sites in China and can’t wait to see the Great Wall” Tizzy exclaimed.
“I believe Tizzy will be amongst the first female artists to take soca Global,” says Brad Hemmings, CEO of Caribbean Entertainment Tizzy’s agency, “China has almost 30% of the World’s population…this trip is a key component in our strategy to expose Tizzy to the World.”
